Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Trimble GPS Surveyor specializing in Machine Control systems to join our innovative surveying team. In this role, you will utilize advanced GPS technology and machine control systems to perform precise land surveys, support construction projects, and enhance data collection processes. Your expertise will directly contribute to efficient project execution, accurate mapping, and seamless integration of geospatial data. Responsibilities Operate and calibrate Trimble GPS equipment integrated with machine control systems for land surveying and construction projects Conduct accurate data collection using GPS, 3D scanners, and other geospatial tools to support civil engineering and land development initiatives Perform utility locating to identify underground infrastructure, ensuring safety and project accuracy Utilize CAD software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, and Carlson for drafting schematics, creating detailed maps, and analyzing survey data Apply principles of trigonometry, geometry, algebra, and math to perform precise calculations necessary for survey accuracy Interpret schematics, construction plans, and GIS data to support project planning and execution Assist with heavy lifting tasks involving hand tools and other equipment to set up survey stations or transport equipment on-site Requirements Proven experience with land surveying techniques, GPS systems, and machine control technology in construction or civil engineering environments Strong knowledge of geospatial software including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, Carlson, ArcGIS, and GIS applications Familiarity with 3D scanners and data analysis skills for capturing detailed site information Solid understanding of trigonometry, geometry, algebra, and math fundamentals essential for accurate measurements and calculations Ability to perform utility locating using specialized tools to identify underground utilities before excavation or construction activities Experience with schematics interpretation and drafting using CAD programs; familiarity with construction drawings is a plus Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work outdoors in varying weather conditions; comfortable using hand tools for setup or adjustments Strong attention to detail combined with excellent data collection skills to ensure survey precision and project integrity Join our team as a Trimble GPS Surveyor-Machine Control specialist where your technical expertise meets impactful project outcomes.
