Job Description

We're partnered with a growing civil engineering and surveying firm with a strong pipeline of transportation and infrastructure projects across Wisconsin. They are looking to add a Professional Land Surveyor to support and lead survey efforts on a range of civil and roadway projects. This role offers a mix of technical surveying work, field oversight, and project coordination with opportunities to grow into leadership. Why this role stands out Consistent backlog of WisDOT and local municipal transportation work Opportunity to take ownership of projects and grow into a leadership role Exposure to a variety of civil and infrastructure projects across the region Collaborative team environment with strong long-term stability Key Responsibilities Perform and oversee a variety of survey projects including boundary, topographic, and construction layout Support roadway, highway, and civil infrastructure projects from field through final deliverables Coordinate field crews and ensure accurate data collection and execution Process survey data and assist in preparation of plans, plats, and mapping deliverables Review work for quality and compliance with industry and DOT standards Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and clients Assist with project planning, scheduling, and coordination as needed Qualifications Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license preferred or actively working toward licensure 5+ years of land surveying experience Background supporting civil or transportation-related projects Experience with GPS, robotic total stations, and survey data processing workflows Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar software Strong communication skills and ability to work across field and office teams Get job alerts Share Copied to clipboard Related roles Survey Project Lead
