Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Sustainability Project Coordinator to champion our environmental initiatives and drive sustainable practices across our organization. In this role, you will develop, implement, and monitor sustainability programs that align with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Your passion for environmental stewardship will inspire teams to integrate eco-friendly solutions into daily operations, ensuring our commitment to a greener future. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact on our sustainability goals while collaborating with cross-functional teams to foster innovation and compliance. Duties Lead the development and execution of sustainability strategies that promote environmentally responsible manufacturing and operational practices. Collaborate with research and development teams to incorporate eco-friendly materials and processes related to building science. Ensure compliance with verification programs across platforms LEED, NGBS, FGBC, and many others. Oversee the management documentation involving environmentally sensitive products, ensuring adherence to environmental protocols. Monitor and report on sustainability metrics, tracking progress toward organizational goals and regulatory compliance. Coordinate projects aimed at reducing waste, conserving energy, and minimizing the organization's carbon footprint through effective project management techniques. Perform industry best practices, and innovative green technologies to continuously improve sustainability initiatives. Attend local events aimed at advancing you professionally or the company. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field; no degree necessary if you already hold
LEED AP, NGBS
verifier or equalivant certification. Proven experience in compliance management the construction industry. Strong understanding blueprints, construction practices and building science. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with excellent organizational skills. Knowledge of quality assurance processes related to environmental and sustainability practices. Excellent research skills with an ability to interpret technical data. Effective communication skills to collaborate across departments, present findings, and promote sustainable practices organization-wide.
