This role is dedicated to ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of electrical equipment through precise testing, inspection, and troubleshooting. Based exclusively in Arizona , you will play a vital part in maintaining high standards of quality control within our manufacturing and testing processes. Your expertise will help deliver top-tier solutions for complex electrical systems, supporting our mission to provide safe and dependable power infrastructure. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive testing of electrical equipment using specialized tools such as multimeters, ohmmeters, high current test sets, and precision measuring instruments to verify functionality and compliance with specifications. Perform detailed inspections of switchgear and other electrical apparatus including visual/mechanical to identify defects or deviations from
NEC & NETA
standards. Utilize schematics and technical drawings to troubleshoot and debug electrical circuits, ensuring proper operation before final approval. Apply mechanical knowledge to assemble, disassemble, and modify components accurately using hand tools as necessary Execute quality control and quality assurance procedures throughout the manufacturing process, including adherence to the
NETA ATS/MTS
standards. Collect data during testing procedures, document results meticulously, and analyze findings to identify root causes of failures or inconsistencies. Experience Fundamental understanding of electrical and mechanical testing procedures Familiarity with electrical test equipment and fundamentals Experience in performing extensive testing, problem identification, and troubleshooting Strong background in troubleshooting and performing start-up service NETA level II, III, or IV Certification preferred Strong verbal and written communication skills Computer literacy Compensation & Benefits Negotiable salary based on level of expertise Annual bonus Benefits package including, paid vacation and holidays No Travel Required Outside of Arizona!!! This is a full-time and permanent position that requires a highly skilled Electrical Testing Technician who is willing to join our dynamic team in Arizona.
