Job Description

Texon USA is a leading supplier for the semiconductor industry, focusing on manufacturing power boxes and frames for deposition and etch equipment. We are currently seeking an Electrical Test Technician to join our team to test power boxes and assist engineers in New Product Introduction (NPI) projects.
Job Description:
The Electrical Test Technician will be responsible for operating Automated Test Equipment (ATE) to perform set-up, testing, and troubleshooting of systems, components, and electrical assemblies. In addition, the technician will be required to complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing. The technician may assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment and build and test harnesses and test fixtures, including wire crimping and test harness assembly. The successful candidate will work closely with mechanical and electrical engineers, providing feedback and recommending changes to improve the operation or quality of test, assembly fixtures, tooling, and processes. The technician may also assist in the assembly and set-up of electrical, mechanical, and electro-mechanical systems.
Job Responsibilities:
Operate ATE and perform set-up, testing, and troubleshooting of systems, components, and electrical assemblies. Complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing. Assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment. Build and test harnesses and test fixtures, including wire crimping and test harness assembly. Work closely with mechanical and electrical engineers, providing feedback and recommending changes to improve the operation or quality of test, assembly fixtures, tooling, and processes. Assist in the assembly and set-up of electrical, mechanical, and electro-mechanical systems.
Job Requirements:
AS degree in Electrical Engineering or higher 1+ years of experience as a test technician (Experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus) Experience with 208 VAC testing Experience using digital multimeters, variable power supplies, and LabView. Testing AC/DC power distribution system experience is preferred. Ability to read schematics and drawings is preferred. Familiarity with precision calibrated tools (calipers, torque wrenches, etc.) Electrical rework and soldering skills. Ability to operate a personal computer, including using a Windows-based operating system and related software. Experience and comfortable working with software, firmware, and driver installation. Skills for general assembly and disassembly of electronic equipment using basic hand tools.
