Technical Proficiency LOTO Full Job Description Overview:
The purpose of Dynamics Test Technician is to conduct and document dynamic and environmental testing to validate product performance and compliance with applicable military, commercial, and customer specifications. Role requires ability to perform tests independently with minimal supervision. The Dynamics Test Technician will collaborate with company Engineers in developing official company presentations, test plans and formal test reports.
Responsibilities:
Test and Instrumentation Setup, Documentation of all Pre-Test and in-test activities. Providing support to junior Test Technicians on their daily activities & aiding in completing testing. Responsible for operation and Preventative Maintenance of Engineering and Dynamics Test Equipment.
Job Requirements:
Must have a High School Diploma or a GED equivalent. Having a related engineering degree is a plus. 3+ years of experience in a related field, with strong understanding of the destructive testing world. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Laboratory Test Equipment, such as pressure gauges, electronic/electrical meters, oscilloscopes, vibration controllers, accelerometers, thermocouples & other data acquisition equipment. Must be self-starting and well-organized. Strong reading and writing skills with the ability to produce detailed technical reports. Multilingual is a plus. Experience working in a Physical or an Environmental Test Laboratory.
Knowledge of Commercial Specification:
RTCA-DO-160 and
Military Specification:
MIL-STD-810
is required. Proficiency in MS Windows, MS Word, and MS Excel is required. Ability to type to input test data and reports. This position requires U.S. citizenship due to ITAR compliance requirements.
