The Integration & Test Technician supports the assembly, integration, tuning, testing, and verification of RF microwave and waveguide-based components used in ground station antenna systems. Our Benefits 48 hours of Sick and Safe Leave The Role The Integration & Test Technician role is primarily hands-on, with approximately 75% focused on mechanical assembly and integration work and 25% focused on RF testing and verification. Key Responsibilities Assembly & Integration Perform assembly and disassembly tasks using hand tools in accordance with travelers, drawings, and work instructions Build Mandrel assemblies and verify electrical conductivity Perform hand mechanical solder operations Assist in integration of waveguide and RF components into subassemblies Electromechanical Systems Wire electromechanical assemblies such as motors, encoders, and waveguide switches Verify proper functionality of wired systems RF Testing & Verification Perform tune, test, and verification of RF microwave components Support RF testing activities for waveguide assemblies and antenna subsystems Mechanical Validation & Quality Perform sealing operations and leak test verifications Inspect assemblies for workmanship and compliance with specifications Document test results and report discrepancies Workplace & Compliance Follow all applicable procedures, work instructions, and safety guidelines Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work area in compliance with 5S, including cleanup after task completion Success Metrics Throughput (units completed vs. plan) On-Time completion of assigned work orders/travelers First-pass yield (builds passing inspection without rework Other duties as assigned Qualifications & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required Ability to read and comprehend mechanical blueprints (training provided for entry-level candidates) Basic computer skills (training provided for entry-level candidates) Experience with hand tools High attention to detail nterest in mechanical assembly or technical work Familiarity with basic inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, etc) Prior experience in manufacturing, machining, or inspection Awareness of aerospace quality standards (AS9100 or similar) Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Good attention to detail and pride in hands-on work Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity Dependable, punctual, and consistent in completing assigned tasks Positive attitude and openness to feedback and training Vitesse Systems, LLC performs work controlled by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
