Responsibilities Fabricate, assemble and maintain test equipment Perform extensive testing on a variety of test equipment including pressure and propellant systems, combustion devices, vibration tables, thermal chambers and vacuum chambers Perform calibration activities for automated acceptance testing equipment Work with designers, engineers and other technicians to improve test processes and throughput Provide training and guidance to other technicians Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalency certificate 3+ years of professional experience in aerospace or other relevant operations or test environment Experience with the safe operation of pressure, electrical, power and data acquisition systems Proficient with basic fabrication tools and processes (electric/pneumatic power tools, tube bending, machining, welding, etc.) Ability to troubleshoot problems with fluid and electrical systems and implement scrappy solutions Preferred Skills and Experience 5+ years' of demonstrated experience with propulsion and/or fluid system assembly, testing on rockets, launch vehicles, or spacecraft Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, an understanding for drawing symbols, flag notes and general notes Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, with knowledge of standard operating procedures Attention to detail and accuracy while working within a fast-paced production environment

Compensation bands are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual level and base pay is determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related skills, education, experience, technical capabilities and internal equity. In addition to base salary, for full-time hires, you may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of stock options , and access to medical, vision & dental coverage as well as access to a 401(k) retirement plan .
