Job Description

Our client, a leading organization in the electronics and technology industry, is seeking a Test Engineering Technician to join their team in a 6 month contract with potential for permanent employment. As a Test Engineering Technician, you will be part of the Engineering Support Department supporting the Testing and Quality Assurance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skills, and strong technical aptitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Shift:
Mon-Fri 8am-5pm What's the Job? Perform hands-on testing, debugging, and validation of electronic assemblies and subsystems in a lab environment. Execute test plans, document results, and troubleshoot failures down to the component level. Collaborate closely with design and quality engineers to identify root causes and drive corrective actions. Utilize strong soldering skills, including fine-pitch rework, and cable harnessing techniques. Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and PCB layouts to ensure accurate testing and validation. What's Needed? 1-3 years of hands-on experience in electronic testing or related fields.
