Job Description

Adecco is hiring immediately for an Electrical PCB Technician with a local client in Santa Clara, CA. Pay is $60.00/hr. - $110.00hr.
Duties:
  • We are seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Technician to support our engineering team in prototype validation, PCB bring-up, and functional testing.
  • The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience soldering fine-pitch components, troubleshooting circuit boards to the component level, and working with basic embedded system firmware for testing and debugging purposes.
PCB Bring-Up & Test:
Perform initial bring-up, power-on testing, and validation of newly assembled PCBs.
    Debug & Rework:
    Troubleshoot failed boards to the component level, identifying and correcting soldering defects or design issues.
      Embedded Systems Support:
      Load firmware onto microcontrollers (ARM Cortex/AVR/etc.) and use basic scripts (Python/C#) or debugging tools (UART, JTAG) to verify functionality.
        Equipment Operation:
        Proficiently operate oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, power supplies, and logic analyzers.
          Documentation:
          Maintain accurate records of testing, create defect reports, and update engineering documentation.
            Soldering:
            Perform high-quality SMT and through-hole soldering/rework under a microscope.
            Qualifications:
            • Associates degree in Electronics Engineering Technology or equivalent hands-on experience.
            • 7+ years of experience in PCB assembly, bring-up, and testing.
            • Solid understanding of electrical schematics and circuit diagrams.
            • Knowledge of basic embedded communication protocols:
            UART, SPI, I2C.
            • IPC-A-610 or
            IPC-JSTD
            soldering certification is a plus.
            • Component-level troubleshooting.
            • Microcontroller programming and debugging.
            • Excellent skills of test fixture set-up, soldering, cable customizing.
            • Attention to detail and ability to work under a fast-paced R D environment.

            • Pay Details:
            • $60.
