Job Description
Test Technician Location:
Simi Valley, CA We are seeking a detail-oriented Test Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will perform testing, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and failure analysis on electronic and electro-mechanical products to ensure quality, reliability, and on-time delivery.
Responsibilities:
Perform electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical testing of components, assemblies, and electronic equipment. Set up and operate test equipment including oscilloscopes, DVMs, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, frequency counters, and power meters. Troubleshoot analog and digital circuits to the component level and identify root causes of failures. Review schematics, technical drawings, route cards, and test procedures to ensure proper testing methods are followed. Document test results, failure analysis findings, and troubleshooting activities. Support engineering and production teams with diagnostics, verification, and product testing. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent. 1-2+ years of experience in electronics testing, troubleshooting, or electro-mechanical systems. Strong understanding of electrical systems, microelectronics, and analog/digital circuitry. Experience using electronic test equipment and reading schematics and technical drawings. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Windows applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
Technical training, vocational education, or apprenticeship experience. Aerospace, manufacturing, or electronics production experience. Experience performing component-level troubleshooting and failure analysis.
Pay:
