Full Job Description Position:
Test Technician Bay Area Compliance Laboratories, Corp. (BACL) is a global service leader in testing, consulting, certification and regulatory approvals management firm. We provide services in the areas of: Electromagnetic Interference (EMI), Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC), Radio Communications, Telecommunications, Product Safety, Lighting and Energy Efficiency. Job Duties and Responsibilities, include but are not limited to those listed below Compliance testing for consumer or industrial electronic devices in accordance with regulatory requirements using prescribed testing methods, following testing standards/specifications, and established departmental procedures Work closely with project engineers for preparing and testing devices according to the test plans Understanding and following test plans Identifying test methods and limits from given standards Accurately record test data and evaluate test result data to determine pass/fail with test engineers Setting up test equipment and performing testing independently and efficiently Compiling test reports using test data Provide feedback to department manager regarding departmental systems, processes and recommendations for improvements Effectively communicating with team members, supervisors, and customers Following schedule and completing tasks on time Working under the supervision of Technical Lead/Department Head Qualifications Understanding of engineering/applied science concepts Have previous experience of success conducting tests - should also be able to process and summarize data Must be able to follow directions, able to understand SOPs and demonstrate understanding through speech and/or written form Good communications and interpersonal skills Responsible and detail oriented Excellent written and verbal communication skills Intermediate to Advanced Level experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) 2 year or above technical degree (AA, AS, EET, etc.) Compensation/Benefits Paid company holidays Paid vacation and sick leave Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance 401k eligibility Bay Area Compliance Laboratories, Corp. provided the following inclusive hiring information: We are an equal opportunity employer and considers all qualified applicants equally without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran status, or disability status.
