This role supports manufacturing operations by identifying defects, performing functional and RF-related testing, maintaining test equipment, and ensuring compliance with ESD/MSD handling procedures. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, hands-on experience with electronic test equipment, and the ability to support multiple product lines in a fast-paced production environment. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and troubleshoot production PCBAs to identify faulty components, manufacturing defects, and assembly issues down to the component level; submit units for rework as needed. Perform functional, boundary scan, and RF-related testing on electronic assemblies and systems. Read and interpret schematics, test procedures, and technical documentation to support troubleshooting activities. Adhere to all Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) and board handling procedures to maintain product integrity. Follow Moisture Sensitive Device (MSD) handling requirements according to Moisture Sensitivity Levels (MSL). Operate and maintain electronic test equipment including HP 3070, Genrad systems, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and spectrum analyzers. Execute software backups, diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and virus/fragmentation checks on tester control computers. Document troubleshooting findings, test results, and yield data accurately within the Clarity application and other tracking systems. Support production test operator training, certification efforts, and mentoring of debug technicians. Collaborate with Test Engineering on development projects, process improvements, test station efficiencies, and safety initiatives. Support multiple product lines and customer programs while maintaining production quality and throughput goals. Qualifications & Requirements 2+ years of related electronics test/troubleshooting experience, or a vocational/technical certification in electronics with equivalent hands-on training. Strong understanding of electronic circuit troubleshooting to the component level. Experience with RF testing and troubleshooting preferred. Working knowledge of amplifiers, attenuators, and related RF components preferred. Proficient in the use of electronic test equipment including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, HP 3070, and Genrad systems. Highly computer literate with the ability to navigate diagnostic and data tracking software. Strong analytical and deductive reasoning skills. Clear verbal communication and the ability to work effectively within a production team environment. Ability to manage repetitive tasks while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards. Flexible and capable of supporting multiple procedures, products, and customer lines. Schedule & Compensation 1st
