St. Charles, IL (near DuPage Airport) Compensatio n: $30-$32/hour ($62,400-$66,500 annually)
Benefits :
This is a direct hire position with the manufacturer and includes a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, and paid holidays. We are partnering with a manufacturer in the St. Charles area to hire an EMC Test Technician for a direct-hire, full-time opportunity. This role is part of the client's Test Systems department, a small, hands-on team working closely with a Manager and several Engineers to support EMC and electrical test system builds.
Key Responsibilities :
Wire and assemble 5 ft. panel boxes, including: Crimping Wiring Soldering Testing electrical components Install and secure electrical components within control panels Read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical documentation Support EMC and electrical test system builds and testing activities Maintain quality, accuracy, and organization throughout the build process Collaborate closely with Engineers and the Test Systems Manager Qualifications 3-5 years of relevant hands-on experience in wiring, panel assembly, or related technical roles or 1+ year of experience for candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Associate's Degree or Technical School training in Electrical, Electronics, or a related field Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering considered with reduced experience Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude Ability to work independently while contributing to a small, team-oriented department
