This role works closely with Test Engineers and customers to understand product functionality, resolve test issues, and provide break-fix support for test equipment. The position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work with electronics, wants to diversify their skills, and is looking for long-term growth and development in a clean, well-supported production environment. Responsibilities Use test failure reports, schematics, datasheets, and other technical documentation to accurately troubleshoot assembly and system-level failures down to the component level so they can be repaired. Collaborate with Test Engineers and, when needed, with customers to gain additional knowledge of product functionality and test requirements when information is not readily available. Provide break-fix support for test equipment to minimize downtime and maintain smooth production and test operations. Utilize oscilloscopes, multimeters, network analyzers, and other appropriate tools to perform diagnostics, measurements, and verification of electronic assemblies and systems. Create, analyze, and verify documentation, test programs, models, processes, or production-related information as it applies to the testing role. Follow established procedures, safety guidelines, and quality standards while working on electronic assemblies and test equipment. Participate in training and skill development activities to continuously improve technical capabilities and support advancement within the organization. Essential Skills Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (EE). At least 2 years of hands-on experience working with multimeters, oscilloscopes, and network analyzers. Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics, datasheets, and technical documentation. Proven experience troubleshooting electronic assemblies and systems to the component level. Experience tracking bugs and defects and contributing to solutions and corrective actions. Basic understanding of how testing supports product requirements, specifications, and manufacturing processes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills applied to electronic test and repair. Ability to use standard electronic test equipment safely and effectively. Additional Skills & Qualifications Any software programming experience is a plus and can support growth into more advanced test or engineering roles. Interest in diversifying skills and working hands-on with electronic products and test equipment. Willingness to collaborate closely with Test Engineers and cross-functional teams. Motivation to learn, take training seriously, and pursue advancement opportunities within a structured career path. Strong attention to detail and documentation habits when recording test results, defects, and repairs. Work Environment The role is based in a modern electronic manufacturing and engineering facility that focuses on product realization, including engineering, manufacturing, and support services for highly complex and regulated industries. The work environment is clean and temperature-controlled, ensuring it is never too hot or too cold on the production floor. Employees work with electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and network analyzers in a structured production and test setting. The company emphasizes employee appreciation, offering events such as barbecues and providing an updated break room with snack options via a kiosk.
