1 Job description: The Range Gas Lab Contractor will primarily be responsible for conducting energy tests on Cooktop ranges (electric and gas). The contractor will need to complete requested testing per the standard and document the results per the lab's

ISO 17025

quality policies.

Essential Duties:

1. Initiate test and data acquisition and document results. 2. Interpret test results, document test results and assist engineers with root cause analysis and alternate solutions. 3. Move engineering samples between the test area, preparation area, and storage area. 4. Validate and maintain lab hardware and software.

Skills:

Minimum Qualifications:

Understanding of Range Lab test equipment and instrumentation (multi-meters, oscilloscopes, power analyzers, gas analyzers, power supplies, etc...). Able to troubleshoot test setup, confirm required accuracy is met and knowledgeable of routine validation steps. Ability to work with minimum supervision. Attention to detail and time management skills to multitask to meet schedule. Mechanical and Electrical Applications Experience; Gas experience preferred Knowledgeable on how to perform hi-pot and current leakage on multiple product lines. Minimum 1 year experience in appliance testing with emphasis on energy testing. Proficiency in
