The ideal Test Technician candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and a commitment to producing high quality work.
Test Technician Duties Overview:
Install, setup and teardown customer supplied parts and components using, but not limited to, the following test equipment: electrodynamic shakers, hydraulics, and environmental chambers. Perform measurement and initial data quality checks. Perform testing as instructed and record/log testing results. Perform routine and preventative maintenance on equipment. Become proficient with various controllers used to operate test equipment (PLC controllers, MTS, Vibration Research). Maintain a clean work environment. Follow and comply with all company Health & Safety policies and procedures.
Test Technician Qualifications:
Required education: High School diploma PQT, durability testing, and/or vibration experience is preferred. Solid mechanical aptitude and computer skills are required. Strong oral, written, communication and interpersonal skills are required. Must be punctual, have reliable transportation, willing to work overtime and weekends, and able to pass drug screening and background test.
Hours:
8:00am - 4:30pm and overtime as required
Pay:
$20.00 to $24.00 or more How to
