Responsibilities Set up, adjust, and perform operational checks on product components and systems to ensure proper function. Test and troubleshoot a variety of machines with both electrical and mechanical components. Read, understand, and follow schematics and blueprints to perform accurate assembly, testing, and troubleshooting. Verify that final products meet all order specifications and quality standards before release. Identify and report opportunities for process and product improvement while adhering to all quality policies. Perform mechanical testing tasks, which make up approximately 90% of the workload. Perform electrical testing tasks, which make up approximately 10% of the workload. Ensure all work complies with safety procedures and quality guidelines in a production environment. Essential Skills Experience as an electronic or electromechanical technician, including mechanical and electrical testing and troubleshooting. Ability to read, interpret, and follow schematics and blueprints accurately. Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in mechanical testing and adjustment. Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues on complex printing machines. Attention to detail to ensure final products meet specified order requirements and quality standards. Awareness of and adherence to quality policies, with a focus on continuous improvement. Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a technical, mechanical, or electronic technician role. Ability to perform wiring tasks and work safely with electrical and mechanical systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications Education from technical institutions such as Dunwoody, Hennepin Tech, ITT, or similar technical programs is preferred. Background in electronic technician work, including mechanical and electrical testing and troubleshooting. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a production environment with a mix of mechanical and electrical tasks. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently. Capability to prioritize mechanical testing while handling occasional electrical testing as needed.
