LVA Electrical Test Technician 2nd shift

The LVA Electrical Test Technician will set up, operate and maintain a variety of test equipment to perform electrical, electronic and mechanical tests on a variety of control equipment.

In this function you will:

Test equipment, ensure it meets customer specifications as well as safety and quality requirements. Ensure a safe work environment for self and others. Constantly evolve in product and process knowledge; may require additional classroom work or assigned reading. Build positive relationships that support job objectives and a team environment. Develop rapport and establish relationships with customers; will interface heavily with customers on witness tests. Record data and write reports; process paperwork timely, accurately, and with accountability. Follow procedures with accurately, efficiently and with strict attention to details. Troubleshoot various problems that could occur during course of test; requires Tester to think critically to solve problems. Continuously improve work environment processes; may require Tester to develop test setups and new procedures when current procedures are inadequate. Troubleshoot and repair warranty and non-warranty problems. Recognize and report quality issues through the correct channels as they arise. Must be able to work flexible hours; including overtime and weekends Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics from an accredited institution. No relocation is being offered for this role. All candidates considered must live within 50 - miles of the Arden, NC facility. Active - Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Previous work experience troubleshooting electrical and/or mechanical problems.
