In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the safety and performance of advanced passenger rail vehicles by performing hands-on commissioning, diagnostic testing, and technical troubleshooting of complex electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems. Responsibilities Execute comprehensive electrical and mechanical commissioning procedures on high-capacity rail equipment. Diagnose, document, and resolve technical failures to ensure fleet reliability and operational readiness. Utilize advanced diagnostic test equipment and Portable Test Units (PTUs) to validate system functionality. Interpret complex technical schematics and blueprints to guide installation and repair processes. Maintain rigorous compliance with industry safety standards and operational protocols. Collaborate effectively within a multi-disciplinary team to streamline production and testing workflows. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or GED equivalent. Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in electrical testing or related technical fields. Demonstrated proficiency in troubleshooting pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 40 pounds and working in varied environmental conditions. Preferred Skills Associate's degree in Mechatronics, Engineering Technology, or a related field. Experience working with rail, automotive, or heavy industrial control systems. Strong analytical skills with a focus on precision and technical documentation.
