Job Description

Senior electronics technician role focused on electronic and mechanical assembly testing, troubleshooting, calibration, data analysis, and manufacturing test support. Job Requirements Associate degree in Electronics Engineering Technology or related field Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered 3-5 years of related work experience Knowledge of electronic theory and mathematics Experience reading and interpreting drawings, sketches, schematics, technical manuals, and written instructions Experience using basic electronic test equipment, including multimeters Experience using oscilloscopes, signal generators, and specialized test equipment Ability to read and understand diagnostic data Basic mechanical aptitude Experience solving complex technical problems Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Experience using database software Ability to walk, stand, and lift up to 25 pounds Ability to lift more than 25 pounds with assistance Preferred Skills Test software knowledge Soldering experience Experience with electronic assembly repair Experience with mechanical assembly repair Experience setting up complex test equipment Experience supporting new product transitions to manufacturing Experience creating test procedures and data sheets Job Responsibilities Construct assemblies using drawings, sketches, schematics, technical manuals, and written instructions Follow prescribed test procedures to test electronic and mechanical assemblies Use multimeters and basic test equipment to troubleshoot, debug, and perform routine measurements Set up and use oscilloscopes, signal generators, and specialized test equipment Test, align, calibrate, and troubleshoot products to verify proper function Repair and replace defective parts and components Perform assembly and repair duties as required Perform soldering as required Conduct tests and experiments of moderate complexity Modify test setups or procedures as needed Analyze data to verify applicability, practicality, accuracy, and conformance to specifications Extract and compile technical data from recognized sources Set up and operate complex test and experimental equipment Record, process, and present test data Discuss technical problems with team leads, senior technicians, or engineering Perform functional and operational tests for transitional programs or product improvements Establish test procedures and data sheets Support transition of new products and test procedures to the manufacturing floor Provide technical instructions to team members and support personnel Recommend process and procedure improvements for assigned duties
