Job Description

Small Engineering Firm working in the Environmental Qualification Testing Business, specializing in Shock, Vibration, Temperature and Acoustic Simulation Testing is in need of a technician. This position will be responsible for the setup and conducting of mechanical and electrical tests and instrumentation.
Responsibilities:
Setup, fixture and perform tests as directed by test engineer and in accordance with test procedures as provided. Setup instrumentation on test articles, acquire and reduce the data to an acceptable format. Maintain safe test environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
Familiar with use of hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools Comfortable with computers. Willingness to learn. Forklift driving, use of overhead hoists Familiarity with the use of drill presses, welding equipment and torches welcomed.
Preferred:
Basic welding Test items may require electrical or plumbing connections. This position must satisfy ITAR compliance requirements, therefore candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Resident Card Holder.

$18.00 - $23.00 per hour
