Job Description

Overview Our client has a rare and exciting opportunity to add a day shift Test Technician to our team. Our Electronic Test Techs are responsible for testing, troubleshooting and repairing subassemblies and final assemblies down to the component level for products that protect and support switchboard gear, renewable energy, transportation, defense and other applications worldwide. This is a Monday through Friday full time position, with overtime as needed. Duties Performs electrical product testing in a manufacturing setting Performs product and system repair and preventive maintenance as required Performs verification checks on electronic instruments Writes procedures for test and inspection Investigates and troubleshoots parts Follows established safety procedures Responsible for quality as related to job duties and has the authority to address issues of quality at any level Experience with electrical testing equipment such as Ratiometers, Hi-Pots, Volt meters. Knowledge of Siemens power configurations a bonus. Experience Proven experience working with surface mount technology (SMT) in a manufacturing or electronics environment Strong understanding of quality control and quality assurance principles within a production setting Familiarity with ASME codes & standards related to manufacturing and testing procedures Mechanical knowledge including the use of hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and soldering equipment Experience performing non-destructive testing methods and interpreting schematics or technical drawings Ability to collect, analyze, and document data accurately for quality inspection purposes Knowledge of manufacturing processes and assembly techniques in electronics or mechanical systems Excellent analysis skills with attention to detail to identify defects or inconsistencies during inspections Join us as a Test Technician and become a vital part of our mission to deliver high-quality products that meet rigorous industry standards. $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
