None Requirements:
U.S. Citizen | Background Check & Drug Test Required We are seeking an Electronic Technician to support the Manufacturing Test department in Buffalo, NY. In this role, you will test products used in advanced Electronic Warfare simulation systems and assist with assembly activities supporting manufacturing workflow. This is an onsite position supporting Operations and Manufacturing Test functions in a fast-paced defense electronics environment. Key Responsibilities Perform routine technical functions supporting development engineering activities including: Design support Testing and checkout Fabrication and modification Assembly of electronic and electro-mechanical systems Test and troubleshoot RF and digital equipment to ensure conformance to design specifications. Conduct operational tests and fault isolation down to the component level. Build and troubleshoot prototype models and specialized test equipment. Execute environmental and developmental engineering tests and collect required data. Work from schematics, diagrams, layouts, written instructions, and verbal direction. Utilize diagnostic and test equipment including: Oscilloscopes Spectrum analyzers Network analyzers Signal generators VOM/DVM equipment Support assembly activities as required to maintain workflow and production schedules. Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to support product quality and performance objectives. Basic Qualifications One of the following: 4 years of relevant experience, OR Associate's degree in an electronics-related field plus 2 years of related experience, OR 2 years of U.S. military electronic schooling plus 2 years of related experience Experience testing and troubleshooting RF and digital equipment. Hands-on experience using electronic test equipment such as: Spectrum analyzers Oscilloscopes Network analyzers Strong manual dexterity with the ability to handle and assemble small electronic components. Ability to work onsite on 2nd shift.
Preferred Qualifications Experience using:
Engineering drawings Wire lists Source control drawings Test procedures Experience working with microelectronics and microscope tuning. Soldering and electronic assembly experience. Experience collaborating with engineering teams. Knowledge of defense electronics, preferably Electronic Warfare systems. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Experience working in a metrics-driven manufacturing environment. #IND1
