Position Overview The Assembler (Test Technician) plays a critical role in ensuring electronic products meet strict quality and performance standards. You'll perform detailed functional testing, troubleshoot electronic assemblies, and work with advanced test stations and diagnostic equipment in a structured, quality‑focused environment. Key Responsibilities Perform functional testing of electronic assemblies to verify quality and performance Operate and monitor In‑Circuit Test (ICT), Flying Probe (FTP), and Automated X‑ray Inspection (AXI) systems Troubleshoot analog and digital electronics down to the component level Debug printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) to ensure reliability Set up, configure, and monitor test stations and fixtures Use electronic test equipment including digital meters, power meters, spectrum analyzers, and oscilloscopes Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation Conduct inspections and accurately document test results Follow established safety, test procedures, and quality standards Required Skills Hands‑on experience testing electronic assemblies or circuits Component‑level troubleshooting of analog and digital electronics Experience using electronic test and measurement equipment Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documentation Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured procedures Active security clearance Preferred Qualifications Experience with ICT, Flying Probe, or AXI systems PCBA debugging in a production or test environment Familiarity with RF concepts and testing Test fixture setup and equipment configuration experience Work Environment Brand‑new, climate‑controlled facility Clean, organized, process‑driven manufacturing floor Focus on precision, safety, and quality Collaborative, team‑oriented culture Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Newark, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
