Manufacturing, Engineering, Aerospace Description The primary function of this position is to run operational tests on production units. Works under the direction of a supervisor or work lead with work delegated on a regular basis. Work is done independently or under minimal supervision.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs operational run testing, which may include running Leak Testing on HVAC equipment Able to use electronic test equipment and refrigeration charge equipment Able to record test result data both electronically and in written format Proficient in testing and repairing heaters/CBRNs and ECUs Performs operational run testing and troubleshooting of HVAC and Generator power equipment, which may include repair. Able to read schematics and engineering drawings Ability to pass Test Tech II Knowledge Assessment Test Accurately reports shop floor production data via computer terminal and/or written reporting Follows both visual and written work instructions in order to complete assigned tasks within set time allotted Performs cycle counting of parts and material handling duties as required Supports, communicates, reinforces and defends the mission, values and culture of the organization Adheres to all quality and safety standards
Education/Experience/Skills:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred 1-3 years industry experience preferred Ability to work from verbal and written instructions Experience of small power tools, other hand tools and computerized and high-pressure equipment Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to climb ladders, bend, kneel, work overhead with arms and sit or stand for several hours as a time Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required per plant rules
