Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Test Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in cable testing, particularly in fiber optic and hybrid cable assemblies. This role is critical to ensuring the performance, reliability, and compliance of our products before they reach our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform electrical and optical testing on fiber optic and hybrid cable assemblies using specialized test equipment (e.g., OTDR, power meters, interferometers). Interpret test specifications and procedures to validate product performance. Troubleshoot and diagnose failures or inconsistencies in cable assemblies. Document test results accurately and maintain detailed records in accordance with quality standards. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve technical issues and improve test processes. Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., MIL-STD, IPC/WHMA-A-620) and internal quality protocols. Maintain and calibrate test equipment as needed. Additional Skills & Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in cable testing, preferably in a manufacturing or aerospace/defense environment. Proficiency with fiber optic test equipment and understanding of cable assembly schematics. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Familiarity with ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality systems is a plus.
