Job Description

Position Summary:
Infintium Fuel Cell Systems, Inc. is developing next generation fuel cell system solutions to power material handling vehicles in the Greenville, SC area. We are currently looking for a FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) Technician who will be responsible for FAT is completed on all units to ensure all systems meet internal quality standards and customer requirements prior to shipment. This role requires strict adherence to FAT procedures, accurate documentation, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring all FAT steps are completed in full before final approval and release.
Key Responsibilities:
Complete all Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) steps according to approved test procedures, work instructions, and customer requirements. Set up and operate test equipment, including load banks and monitoring tools, to execute FAT testing requirements. Monitor unit performance during testing, including voltage, current, temperature, alarms, fault codes, and system stability. Verify proper operation of safety features, shutdown systems, and alarm functions as required by FAT procedures. Maintain test equipment in proper working condition and report calibration or maintenance needs immediately. Support production schedules by completing FAT testing efficiently while maintaining strict quality and safety standards.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum of 1-3 years in battery manufacturing or related assembly work. 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, commissioning, testing, or technical assembly preferred.
Education:
High school degree or GED equivalent
Skills:
Mechanical aptitude and electrical aptitude are desired. Experience with troubleshooting circuits Experience with CAN networks or other communication protocols. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with engineering and quality teams as well as all levels of management and external customers. Accuracy in handling detailed information / data. Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with continuous improvement projects. Forklift certification or experience with material handling equipment. Ability to solve problems independently and with others. Excellent planning, organizational, and project management skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
Working Conditions:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk for the duration of the shift. The employe frequently is required to talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
