Full-Time | 1st Shift LINK Staffing is hiring an Electrical Test Technician for a 1st shift opportunity in the Katy, TX area. This role pays $30.00 per hour and is a strong fit for someone with electrical testing, troubleshooting, schematic reading, and power electronics experience in a manufacturing or production setting. This is a hands-on technical role where you will inspect, test, troubleshoot, document results, and help make sure electrical units meet quality and safety standards before moving forward in production. Job Highlights $30.00 per hour Full-time 1st shift schedule Katy, TX area Electrical testing and troubleshooting work Use DMMs, oscilloscopes, power analyzers, and isolation testers Work from schematics, drawings, and written instructions Manufacturing/production environment What You'll Do Perform visual pre-power inspections before electrical testing Run production acceptance testing, including insulation and functional tests Read electrical schematics, drawings, and work instructions to complete testing accurately Use testing equipment such as DMMs, oscilloscopes, power analyzers, and isolation testers Troubleshoot failed units and help identify electrical or component issues Record test results and complete required reports and documentation Work with large gauge cables as part of the testing process Support light mechanical assembly when needed What We're Looking For 2 to 5 years of electrical industry experience Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics Experience with power electronics Experience using DMMs, oscilloscopes, power analyzers, and isolation testers Basic Microsoft Office skills Able to follow written work instructions and safety procedures in English Able to lift 25 pounds regularly and up to 40 pounds occasionally Comfortable working with large gauge cables Technical degree in Applied Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience preferred Why Apply Competitive pay at $30.00 per hour 1st shift schedule Skilled electrical testing role in the Katy area Hands-on work using diagnostic tools and troubleshooting skills Good fit for candidates with electrical testing, schematic reading, and production support experience Apply Now If you have experience with electrical testing, troubleshooting, schematics, and power electronics, apply today to be considered for this Electrical Test Technician opportunity in the Katy, TX area.
