Make a difference as a Sr. Test Technician As a Sr. Test Technician at Krypton Solutions, your day-to-day expectations will involve performing comprehensive testing procedures on manufactured products to ensure they meet quality and performance standards. You will regularly collaborate with engineering teams to develop and refine test protocols, documenting findings and providing insights for product improvements. Troubleshooting issues in electrical and mechanical systems will be a key responsibility, requiring keen analytical skills. You will also maintain testing equipment, calibrate tools, and adhere to safety protocols within the onsite environment. Apply principles of electronics to analyze electronic failures and determine the root cause. Provide guidance to junior team members on matters relating to the interpretation, setup, performance of test procedures. Assemble prototypes engineering instructions or technical manuals. Recommend changes in circuitry or installation specifications to simplify assembly and maintenance. Set up standard electronic test apparatus or devises test equipment to conduct functional, operational, environmental, and life tests. Analyze and interprets test data and test results. Adjust, align, and modify circuitry and components and record effects on unit performance. Check functionality of newly installed equipment to evaluate system performance under operating conditions. Provide product support to customers. Maintain test procedures and test documentation as required. What we're looking for in a Sr. Test Technician To excel as a Sr. Test Technician at Krypton Solutions, you must possess a robust skill set tailored to the demands of the role. Demonstrable experience in troubleshooting failures on electronic boards and devices at the component level is crucial, along with extensive experience handling electronic testing equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, signal generators, and RF equipment (spectrum analyzers and VNA). Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematic and block diagrams is essential. Demonstrable experience in troubleshooting failures on electronic boards and devices at a component level is required. Extended experience in handling electronic testing equipment is required: Multimeter (DMM) Oscilloscope Power Supply Signal Generator RF equipment (Spectrum Analyzer and VNA) High Voltage/High Current measuring instrumentation. Ability to read and interpret schematic and block diagrams is required. Experience in programming and operation of Seica Flying Probe tester or similar is a strong plus. Able to follow written technical documents is required. Relevant 4+ years' education and experience in electronic testing and troubleshooting, with verifiable history is required.
