Flying Probe Test Technician Location Richardson, TX Pay Rate:

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate degree in Electronics or Electronics Technology (or equivalent experience)

IPC-A-610

(CIS) certification or the ability to obtain Minimum 1 year of experience with Flying Probe or In-Circuit Test (ICT) programming Military electronics training is considered instead of formal education

Physical Requirements:

Frequently lift 10-15 lbs. ; occasionally up to 25 lbs.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze production schedules, board complexity, and equipment availability to select optimal testing platforms Develop and maintain flying probe test programs using CAD data, BOMs, and schematics Debug and validate test programs using schematics and component datasheets Troubleshoot and resolve test failures and equipment issues to minimize downtime Perform board-level and test-level diagnostics to ensure product quality Collaborate with Test Operators and cross-functional teams to ensure proper implementation Monitor workflow and adjust priorities to meet production deadlines and throughput goals Assist with task coordination and team support as needed More Than Just a Paycheck.
