As a Transformer Test Technician, you'll play a hands-on role in validating innovative designs across industry-leading standards including UL, IEEE, IEC, Nuclear 1E, and IBC. Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines. How You'll Make an Impact Perform transformer testing to multiple industry standards in a production environment. Follow safety and quality procedures while maintaining high housekeeping standards. Interpret engineering drawings to wind, assemble, wire, and fabricate components. Support other production areas as needed, following supervisor instructions. Manage multiple concurrent tasks and meet established deadlines. Document test plans, results, and protocols with accuracy and clarity. Host and support customers, auditors, and certification personnel during witnessed testing. Demonstrate Hitachi Energy's values of safety, integrity, and teamwork. Your Background AS degree or technical certificate (minimum 2-year electrical education). Prior work authorization to work in the United States. Experience with instrumentation and measurement systems. Ability to gather, organize, and process technical information from multiple sources. Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines; flexible with shifts, overtime, and weekends.
