Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 1. Perform and document operational test processes to ensure the correct functioning of the equipment in accordance with the technical documentation and current standards. 2. Validate the customer's specification, special specs vs. Panel Construction. 3. Perform insulation tests in accordance with the procedure established per customer specifications. 4. Perform the continuity test in accordance with the procedure established. 5. Perform the mechanical test to the equipment (switches, relays, etc.) to ensure their correct functionality. 6. Validate, record and ensure that all deviations found during the test are clarified and fixed. 7. Provide constructive, respectful feedback to the production floor about your findings to improve production processes. 8. Follow and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, World Class Manufacturing Principles, and SEL safety standards. 9. Train and mentor team members and suggest modifications to work instructions as needed. 10. Improve the performance and efficiency of the testing area: Identify, Measure, Improve, and Analyze. Work independently, efficiently and effectively. 11. Understand. Create. Simplify. 12. Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Associate's Degree (A.S.) in Electrical/Technician related disciplines, Technician in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or relevant discipline Self-motivated with continuous desire to learn and find solutions Basic English (able to read drawings) Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment Background check results satisfactory to SEL Negative drug test result(s) Preferred Qualifications Experience with Windows OS and Microsoft Office Knowledge in the execution of tests in electrical panels Knowledge in electrical, mechanical and plating materials Able to interpret electrical and mechanical diagrams and functional diagrams Knowledge of quality tools and standards 2+ years' experience in manufacturing Physical Requirements None Pay Range Data Pay range for position is $32.88 - $48.60 per hour. Our compensation ranges are based on the responsibilities of the role. Starting pay is determined individually and considers factors such as relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and training.
