Job Description

Job Summary The Test Technician is responsible for executing factory acceptance testing on production units using established test fixtures and procedures. This role primarily involves connecting units to test equipment, running defined test sequences, recording results, and ensuring products meetrequired specifications prior to shipment. The Test Technician plays a key role in maintaining product quality through accurate testing and documentation. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The following are the core duties of the position. This list is not exhaustive; additional tasks may be assigned as needed.
  • Set up units on test fixtures and execute factory acceptance testing per defined procedures
  • Monitor test performance and verify results meet acceptance criteria
  • Accurately record and maintain test data, reports, and documentation
  • Identify and flag test failures or anomalies to engineering or production teams
  • Perform basic troubleshooting related to test setup, connections, or equipment issues
  • Maintain and organize test stations, fixtures, and documentation
  • Ensure all testing is completed in accordance with quality and safety standards
  • Communicate test status and completion to relevant teams Experience / Education Desired
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing, production, or test environment preferred
  • Basic understanding of electrical or mechanical systems is a plus Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Ability to follow standardized test procedures and work instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
  • Basic familiarity with test equipment (multimeters, power supplies, etc.) preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret basic work instructions, diagrams, or test criteria
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage repetitive tasks with consistency
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation
  • Ability to work independently in a production environment Physical Demands
  • Frequent use of hands and ability to handle tools and equipment
  • Regular standing, walking, and sitting
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted Work Environment
  • Manufacturing and test lab environment
  • Exposure to electrical equipment and mechanical systems
  • Must follow all company safety and OSHA requirements
Pay:
$19.23 - $33.65 per hour
