Torque Engineer

Description Torque release: Coordinate with Planning and other departments to gather and input the necessary information into the current system for the torque release of New Type and current vehicles. Coordinate data collection, complete statistical analysis and submit for approval. Floor investigations Engineering and Process changes Data collection and reporting Skills torque, quality system, engineering change, planning, coordinating, torque tools, Engineering Additional Skills & Qualifications Minimum of 2-5 years of Torque Engineering experience 1. Possess very strong problem-solving skills in a cross-functional team environment. 2. Willingness to excel and take over responsibilities for own tasks and approaches 3. Operating systems and software knowledge including Windows and Microsoft Office. 4. Flexibility to work night / split shift, weekends, as required. 5. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within team environment 6. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and apply time management independently. 7. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Birmingham, AL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
