Electronic (Using your CalCareer Account) Job Description and Duties Under the general direction of the Office Chief of COS Management, a Supervising Transportation Engineer, the Quality Control Manager provides technical support to the Project Management staff, assists the Deputy District Director for Program/Project Management (PPM) to coordinate project priorities, assures workplan quality, and manages the District's allocation of Capital Outlay Support (COS) resources. The incumbent plans and manages the annual delivery plan at a programmatic level to ensure a successful delivery and to meet agreed commitments by Fiscal Year. The incumbent manages the COS resources allocation and helps facilitate the crossover allocation/sub-allocation process with other Divisions, attends District Status Meetings, and analyzes engineering project delivery issues, project schedules, track project progress, provide status reports, and monitor capital and support costs.
