Job Description
Produce traffic control plans to attach to permits to aid in project permitting process for the utility Designs and draws the layout of traffic control measures to maintain safe traffic control around construction sites to keep motorists, pedestrians, and construction workers safe Prepare specific traffic control plans while allowing the flow of traffic in project/construction zones Read construction plans Design specific traffic control plans Demonstrate knowledge of traffic control codes Organize and maintain revisions of project drawings, plot files, and project-related information in a logical and well-structured manner Work with other drafters to ensure timely project completion of drawings/plans Working with field engineers to resolve issues Establish and maintain strong relationships with contractors and external SDG&E stakeholders Communicate with external and internal stakeholders in internal and external meetings
