Pensacola, FL Description DRMP is looking for an experienced PE to lead a talented group of drainage engineers in our Northwest Florida drainage group. This individual will be responsible for managing workloads, coordinating with other regional group leaders, marketing clients and mentoring junior staff to support primarily transportation related drainage design projects. We have senior staff in place to help transition candidates with a strong technical background that are ready to make that next step in career development or assist a seasoned leader in moving in to head the team. •This position is eligible for a sign-on-bonus! Donald Brown, PE | LinkedIn Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include Provide engineering analysis and design of stormwater management solutions for transportation projects. Oversee and manage design and production of construction details, plans, specifications and estimates. Collaborate with clients, subconsultant partners, technical staff, and managers across multiple disciplines to develop quality deliverables within schedule and budgetary requirements. Direct and mentor less-experienced support staff. Conduct engineering investigations and planning work by completing well-defined tasks including collection and analysis of data; perform routine calculations, and participate in evaluating the feasibility of alternate solutions. Support business development efforts including proposal pursuit efforts. Help build relationships with key staff of clients, potential clients, teaming partners and contractors. What You'll Need Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering. Must have Professional Engineering Registration with the State. 10+ years of relevant progressive stormwater management design experience including some transportation related projects Drainage experience. Demonstrated knowledge and application of DOT design standards and specifications. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills. Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines. Detail-oriented team player with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment. Valid driver's license with approved/acceptable driving history required.
