Job Description:
Parsons is now hiring a Roadway Engineer I to join our Sandy Springs office to support major regional transportation infrastructure projects!
What You'll Be Doing:
Collaborate often with senior engineers, perform various roadway engineering and design assignments requiring the application of engineering techniques, procedures and design criteria for projects ranging in size and complexity Utilize drafting and modeling software, tools, and programs, to develop conceptual and detailed designs Perform design calculations including material quantity takeoffs and construction cost estimates Assist in the production and modification of design calculations, technical reports, engineering plans and specifications for assigned projects Assist in the preparation of detailed requisitions for material purchase, services, and subcontracts Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or related field) 3 years or more of related work experience with road and highway projects Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certificate is preferred Proficiency in utilizing AutoCAD Civil3D, MicroStation Geopak and/or OpenRoads, is required The ability to communicate and effectively participate as part of an engineering team

Salary Range:
