• Job Description:

• Parsons is looking forward to hiring an experienced Roadway Engineer to join our Savannah, Georgia office location!

• What You'll Be Doing:

• + Analyze and prepare roadway and Temporary Traffic Control Plans (TTCP) designs, calculations and drawings for Expressway/Limited-Access facilities and Arterial/Local roads using DOT and/or local jurisdiction criteria, with guidance provided on assigned tasks as required + Develop 3D Models of roadways, using Corridor Modeling in GEOPAK and/or Open Roads + Approach tasks with an open mindset; propose innovative solutions to design problems + Prepare engineering reports and contract documents for review + May assign, track, and review tasks of technicians or designers; technical discretion applied to first revision of technician work product + Potential to serve as the Engineer-of-Record on assigned engineering tasks + Responsible for managing timely completion of multiple assigned tasks + Communicate effectively with team members, internal design groups, and external entities including clients, subconsultants, and relevant government agencies + Effectively present proposed design solutions as part of internal project meetings; may attend and contribute to presentations with external parties + Adhere to company marketing requirements by providing timely personal resume updates and participating in marketing campaigns + Ensure timely completion of time sheets and expense reports + Take ownership of personal career development by seeking and providing feedback, seizing opportunities to develop new skills, and setting and pursuing personal goals + Contribute to the development of other team members through mentorship and modeling positive behaviors •

Salary Range:
