Their multidisciplinary team of engineers is dedicated to delivering impactful, sustainable solutions for public infrastructure projects. OverviewThey are seeking a Highway Project Engineer with 5-10 years of progressive experience in roadway engineering. This role is ideal for a licensed Professional Engineer who thrives in a leadership position, enjoys mentoring junior staff, and is eager to contribute to the development of transportation projects that serve communities.

ResponsibilitiesLead the development of transportation project plans for public infrastructure projects.

Manage and mentor junior staff while serving as a task lead on multidisciplinary teams.

Assemble complete design packages or manage assigned portions of larger projects.

Conduct quality control reviews to ensure technical excellence.

Attend and lead meetings with public and/or private clients.

Represent the firm at industry and professional society events.

Support business development efforts, including proposal writing and client engagement.

QualificationsBachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.

Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.5-10 years of experience in roadway engineering design and analysis.

Project experience with MassDOT or other New England State DOTs required; municipal experience is a plus.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook).Skilled in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Bentley OpenRoads Designer.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Experience with multi-modal and Complete Streets design is a plus.

Public presentation and proposal development experience preferred.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and meet project deadlines.
