Full-TimeAn established and reputable engineering consulting firm in Andover, Massachusetts is seeking a Traffic Engineer / Traffic Signal Designer with approximately 5+ years of experience in traffic engineering and design. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys both technical design work and traffic analysis and wants to grow within a collaborative transportation-focused team.

What You'll DoConduct traffic impact studies, corridor studies, and operational analysesPerform traffic signal warrant analysesPrepare traffic signal design plans, written specifications, and supporting documentationComplete traffic analysis using industry-standard methodologiesDevelop plans, reports, and technical deliverables in coordination with project managers and clientsWork closely with multidisciplinary teams and provide technical input on transportation projectsApply MassDOT design guidelines and industry standards in all design tasksWhat We're Looking ForBachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
E.I.T. / F.E.
certification required; P.E. license preferredMinimum 5 years of experience in traffic engineering and traffic signal designStrong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external partnersProficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3DFamiliarity with MassDOT guidelines, procedures, and plan development requirements
