Electrical Engineer | PE | Traffic Design | REMOTE Boston, MA Full-TimeRemote$120,000 - $150,000 /yr Posted May 13, 2026 Electrical Engineer | PE License Required | Traffic & Roadway Design | REMOTE Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to oversee the design and implementation of Transportation & Roadway Design infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical and leadership skills to drive project success and foster innovation in electrical engineering practices. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage electrical engineering projects from conception to completion. Oversee the design and implementation of roadway lighting, traffic signals, and power systems. Ensure compliance with national and state electrical codes. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate smart infrastructure solutions. Manage project budgets, schedules, and quality control processes. Develop and maintain client relationships to foster business development opportunities. Train and mentor junior engineering staff and promote a culture of learning and development. Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in electrical engineering. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) with Masters degree preferred. Professional Engineer (PE) licensure required. 8+ years professional experience in electrical engineering and infrastructure management. 3+ years leadership experience. Strong knowledge of roadway design and construction, including traffic signal and power systems. Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, AGI 32, and other engineering design software. Understanding of renewable energy systems, including solar and energy storage technologies. Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
