Program. The ideal candidate will work on-site at North Carolina DOT Statewide Traffic Management Center in Raleigh, NC and provide TSMO Program Support as directed by NCDOT. What you will be doing:

The Engineer will be responsible for tasks related to TSMO program for North Carolina DOT Review and analyze TSMO performance data Strategic planning Program implementation support Oversee TIM related contracts Conduct research on best practices nationally Develop guidance documents Manage multiple projects Conduct analysis and research Produce documents Training program curriculum Communicate with client Training curriculum development Supporting TSMO and Traffic Operations programs This position will work on-site at North Carolina DOT Statewide Traffic Management Center. What you need to be successful in this role: Bachelor's of Science degree in Civil Engineering or related field required An Engineer in Training certification (EIT) is preferred Minimum 3 years experience in Traffic Incident Management, Traffic Management, TSMO, ITS, Traffic Engineering, or Transportation Design and Planning Experience providing Program Support to a transportation client Experience applying transportation engineering and/or planning principles such as design criteria, project goals, and specifications and standards Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with project team Ability to effectively plan and schedule work Ideal candidate is preferred to be located within the Raleigh, NC metro area Benefits PEAK's benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, Flexible Spending Account (FSA), Dependent Care Savings Account (DCA), and 401K plan.
