Responsibilities Serve as a Resident Engineer on New Jersey Agency projects and perform on-site inspection for heavy highway projects. Assist in the review of Cost Estimates and project submittals. Oversight of additional inspection staff in the field Coordinate with Project Managers Travel to projects sites when required. Perform office related work when not performing construction inspection. Ensure daily contractor operations are in accordance with Contract Documents Keep organized and up to date project files. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from an accredited Civil Engineering school required. Professional Engineering (PE) License or valid
NICET III/IV
Certification required. Experience performing construction inspection on prior New Jersey Agency projects. Minimum of eight (8) years' experience as a Resident Engineer. Advanced ability to read and understand Contract Documents. Ability to pass a TWIC Background Check. Ability to perform Night work, if required. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as experience, education and skill set.
