We re seeking an entry-level Bridge Engineer to join our Syracuse Bridge Department and help us deliver some of the largest and most complex infrastructure projects in Upstate New York. In this role, you ll support bridge engineering projects from initial planning and design through construction support. Working under the guidance of senior engineers, you ll contribute to structural analyses, prepare design documents, and assist with field inspections. Position Responsibilities Bridge Design :

Work on every aspect of bridge design projects, including inspection, structural calculations, geometry layout, plan development, and construction coordination.

Project Development :

Assist in progressing bridge projects through the design process, including report writing, environmental permit coordination, and development of contract specifications.

Team Collaboration :

Work within a young, dynamic team in progressing challenging bridge projects, gaining technical knowledge and project management expertise from your peers and higher-level staff. Contribute to a collaborative, growth-oriented team culture. Skills, Education & Experience Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. 0-3 years of experience in bridge design Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D and/or MicroStation/OpenRoads Strong communication and interpersonal skills
