Job Description

Summary We are seeking a motivated and experienced Transportation Engineer to join our team. This role involves supporting a wide range of transportation and site development projects under the guidance of senior leadership. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks across design and construction phases. Job Description Work under the direction of a Manager or Principal Engineer on transportation and land development projects Prepare engineering plans, specifications, cost estimates, and project schedules Perform technical calculations and develop reports across multiple disciplines Design project elements including alignments, profiles, cross sections, grading, drainage systems, and utility infrastructure Develop signing and striping plans, erosion control plans, and assist with permitting Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, and local jurisdictions Support construction administration through site visits, inspections, and project meetings Contribute to collaborative, multidisciplinary project teams Requirements Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Oregon, or ability to obtain within six months Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience) 6+ years of experience in transportation, public works, site development, or stormwater projects Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Qualifications Experience with roadway design, stormwater systems, and utility infrastructure Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate across teams and stakeholders Ability to work both independently and collaboratively Experience supporting construction administration and field coordination Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work Authorized to work in the United States Get job alerts Share Copied to clipboard Related roles Land Development Project Manager
