Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to design site improvements across a wide range of markets while contributing meaningfully to a fast‑paced and expanding organization.

SummaryThe Project Engineer serves as an authorized representative of the organization, responsible for delivering technically sound work that meets client expectations. Working closely with Team Leaders, this role involves making significant technical decisions and may include limited responsibilities in marketing, business development, project management, and client communication.

Essential ResponsibilitiesIndependently complete engineering tasks using strong professional judgment.

Assign and manage tasks for project team members under the guidance of a Team Leader.

Delegate work within internal teams and ensure accuracy through established QC/QA processes.

Review technical documents and provide recommendations for improvement.

Proactively identify and communicate technical, schedule, or financial issues.

Respond to contractor questions and prepare or issue project addenda as needed.

Assist in preparing proposals, including time and cost estimates.

Communicate directly with clients on technical matters.

Experience in hydrology/hydraulics, local permitting, and residential, commercial, mixed‑use, multi‑family, or industrial design is a plus.

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.

Minimum of 4 years of design or engineering experience.

Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and other engineering software tools.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to apply analytical and problem‑solving skills to both routine and non‑routine tasks.

Ability to mentor less‑experienced team members and contribute to a collaborative environment.

Valid driver's license required.

Work EnvironmentRemote work may be considered based on candidate qualifications and scheduled on‑site availability.
