About the Role We are looking for a Senior Transit Engineer to join our Oregon/Idaho team. This position will be part of our Transportation division and lead transit for large, complex projects throughout the region. This position will be based out of Vancouver, Washington or Portland, Oregon.
You Will:
Lead transit engineering scope on large, complex, and multi-disciplinary transportation projects across Oregon and Idaho Serve as the technical authority for transit planning and design, including corridor studies, multimodal integration, and operational considerations Oversee development of transit-related deliverables ensuring quality and regulatory compliance Collaborate with internal disciplines and external partners to integrate transit solutions into broader infrastructure programs Support business development through technical input on pursuits, scoping, and client engagement for regional transit opportunities
You Have:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field and 15+ years of experience in transit or transportation engineering Professional Engineer (PE) license (Oregon and/or Idaho) Experience delivering transit elements within large infrastructure or corridor projects (BRT, LRT, or multimodal improvements)
Compensation Information:
Base salary for this position is in the range of $155,000+ depending on qualifications. Compensation is determined by factors such as education, experience, location, and role. As employee-owners, we are eligible for performance-based bonuses and our salaries are reviewed annually. Our compensation structure prioritizes transparency and internal pay equity.
