Job Description

IntroductionPerforms highly technical professional engineering work in the transportation area. Registration as a Professional Engineer with the Arizona State Board of Technical Registration, OR by the technical board of another state with the ability to obtain Arizona Registration through reciprocity within 6 months of employment is required of this position. Anticipated starting salary may be up to mid-point depending on candidate's experience and internal equity. The full salary range is listed above and mid-point for this positio n is $52.57 hourly/$109,324.80 annually.

Minimum QualificationsEducation and ExperienceA Bachelor's Degree in Traffic Engineering, Civil Engineering or a closely related field from an accredited educational institution.

Years of experience are based on a work schedule of 2,080 hours per year for full-time positions and 1,040 hours per year for part-time positions, and while work experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis, depending upon the job classification, education may not be substituted for work experience
